Challenges and Goals

CHALLENGES AND GOALS FOR THE COMING YEAR. The Destiny Medical Fund looks forward to:



1.Providing on-going funding for establishing and maintaining medical programs for the treatment of cancer, diabetes, heart disease and other life                    threatening diseases. To increase our position of supplying much needed medical equipment and medical supplies to hospitals and clinics that treat              cancer, diabetes, heart disease and other life threatening diseases.


2.To continue to provide emergency information to victims of cancer, diabetes and heart disease; so that they might make an informed decision on how and     where to treat their illness. In addition, to provide ongoing emotional, spiritual and financial support to victims of cancer, diabetes and heart dsiease               whenever possible.


3.To continue providing educational materials so as to increase the awareness of the importance of screening and early detection for cancer, diabetes and       heart disease. The opportunities for helping individuals with cancer, diabetes and heart disease are many—the resources are limited. It will become             essential to build a strong network of dedicated, caring organizations to provide the hope for the victims of these diseases.


4.To equip and position our Organization for the many new opportunities of educating and providing the resources that will be demanded by the many               hospitals, clinics, and individuals that have and work with cancer, diabetes and heart disease. Curing begins with caring.


5.To better prepare to respond to calamities, both natural and man-made by providing food, medicines and other humanitarian assistance to save lives,          ease the suffering and to maintain human dignity of those affected.

The Destiny Medical Fund Inc. (DMFI) was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on October 6, 2006 with SEC Registration No. CN 200615563. As a non-stock, non-profit organization, it is exempted from the payment of income tax as provided under Section 26 (6) of the National Internal Revenue Code, as amended. DMFI is an organization that provides information and assistance to the general public concerning cancer, diabetes, heart disease and other life threatening diseases. DMFI also provides support and medical equipment and supplies to other organizations, hospitals and clinics that treat cancer, diabetes, heart disease and other life threatening diseases.

The DMFI has a Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) – Cebu Philippines, the Registration Certificate and License to Operate, with license no. DSWD F.O. VII R – 00010-2012, as a social welfare and development agency implementing Welfare Services for the Community, in accordance with section 23, Republic Act 4373; “An act to Regulate the Practice of Social Work and the Operation of Social Work Agencies in the Philippines and for Other Purposes”.
